- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter (melted)
- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1 cup strawberries (sliced)
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt in a bowl.
- Heat milk and melted butter in a small saucepan until warm, then stir in the egg.
- Add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients and knead until smooth.
- Let dough rise for about 60 minutes until it doubles in size.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread sliced strawberries over the top.
- Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar mixture over the strawberries.
- Roll up tightly, slice into rolls, and place in a greased baking dish.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes until golden.
- Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract for the glaze.
- Drizzle glaze over warm rolls before serving.
Notes
Serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days.
