Description
Sweet and salty strawberry pretzel salad with a crunchy pretzel crust, creamy filling, gelatin, and fresh strawberries.
Ingredients

2 cups pretzels, crushed
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/4 cup sugar
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
8 ounces whipped topping
2 packages strawberry gelatin, 3 ounces each
2 cups boiling water
2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Mix crushed pretzels, melted butter, and sugar.
- Press into an 8×8 inch pan and bake for 10 minutes.
- Cool the crust completely.
- Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Fold in whipped topping and spread over cooled crust.
- Dissolve strawberry gelatin in boiling water and cool slightly.
- Stir in sliced strawberries and pour over the cream layer.
- Chill until fully set before slicing.
Notes
Seal the cream layer to the edges so gelatin does not soak into the crust.
