- 60 ml Olive Oil (¼ cup)
- 30 ml Lemon Juice (2 tablespoons)
- 4 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
- Herbs (e.g., rosemary, thyme)
Instructions
- Prepare the Marinade: In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and any herbs you choose. Whisk until combined.
- Marinate the Chicken: Place the chicken breasts in a plastic bag or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring it’s evenly coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish with plastic wrap. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the Grill: While the chicken marinates, preheat your grill to medium heat (about 177°C or 350°F).
- Grill the Chicken: Once the grill is ready, remove the chicken from the marinade, letting excess drip off. Grill for 6–8 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the skin is crispy and the internal temperature reaches 74°C (165°F).
- Rest the Chicken: Transfer the chicken to a plate and let it rest for 5–10 minutes to allow juices to redistribute.
Notes
