Description

Deliciously spiced lamb koftas served with a refreshing yogurt sauce.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground lamb
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 skewers
  • Yogurt sauce for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground lamb, onion, garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika, cayenne, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix until well combined.
  4. Form the mixture into elongated shapes around the skewers.
  5. Grill the koftas for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until cooked through.
  6. Serve with yogurt sauce on the side.

Notes

For best results, let the mixture rest for 30 minutes in the fridge before forming the koftas.
