Ingredients

- 240 ml (1 cup) whole milk
- 60 ml (2 fl oz) espresso or strong coffee
- 30 g (1 scoop) whey protein powder (unflavored or vanilla)
- 60 ml (1/4 cup) hot water
- 1–2 tsp (5–10 g) sweetener (optional)
- a pinch of fine sea salt
- 6–8 ice cubes (for iced version)
Instructions
- Pull the espresso or brew strong coffee
- Pre-dissolve the protein
- Heat and froth the milk (hot version)
- Combine coffee and protein mix
- Fill a tall glass with ice for the iced version
- Finish and serve

Pre-dissolving the protein in warm water or coffee prevents lumps and achieves a silky texture.
