- 12 mini sweet peppers
- 100 g (1 cup) mozzarella cheese
- 50 g (½ cup) pepperoni, chopped
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt & pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F).
- Wash the mini peppers, then slice them in half lengthwise. Remove the seeds and membranes. Place them cut-side up on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, and Italian seasoning. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir until well mixed.
- Spoon the filling evenly into each pepper half.
- Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the peppers are tender.
Notes
For a vegetarian option, replace pepperoni with chopped mushrooms and spinach. Avoid overbaking to prevent sogginess.
