Juicy oven-baked BBQ chicken brushed with quick homemade smoky-sweet sauce.
Ingredients

2 pounds bone-in chicken thighs or drumsticks
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
3/4 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F and line a baking sheet with foil.
- Pat chicken dry and rub with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Bake chicken for 25 minutes.
- Simmer ketchup, vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon for 5 minutes.
- Brush chicken with sauce and bake 10 minutes more.
- Brush again and bake 5 to 10 minutes, until the chicken reaches 165 degrees F.
Notes
For stickier BBQ chicken, broil for 1 to 2 minutes at the end while watching closely.
