Description

Hashbrown Chaffles are crispy, delicious, and a fun twist on traditional waffles, perfect for breakfast or as a snack.

Ingredients

Scale

2 cups frozen hashbrowns, thawed

1 large egg

1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)

1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your waffle maker.
  2. Combine the thawed hashbrowns, egg, shredded cheese, green onions, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
  3. Grease the waffle maker lightly.
  4. Spoon the hashbrown mixture onto the waffle maker and spread it out evenly.
  5. Close the lid and cook until golden brown and crispy, about 4-5 minutes.
  6. Carefully remove the chaffle and repeat with the remaining mixture.

Notes

Thaw hashbrowns completely to avoid excess moisture. Experiment with different cheeses for various flavors.
