Description

Quick ground turkey teriyaki rice bowl with vegetables, rice, green onions, and sesame seeds.


Ingredients

1 pound ground turkey

2 tablespoons olive oil or neutral oil

1/4 cup teriyaki sauce

2 cups cooked rice

1 cup mixed vegetables, such as bell peppers, broccoli, or carrots

2 green onions, sliced

1 tablespoon sesame seeds, optional


Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add ground turkey and cook for 5 to 7 minutes, breaking it apart.
  3. Add mixed vegetables and cook until tender-crisp.
  4. Pour in teriyaki sauce and stir until the turkey is coated.
  5. Simmer for 2 to 3 minutes.
  6. Serve over warm rice.
  7. Top with green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

Use cooked rice to keep the recipe under 30 minutes.
