Ingredients

1 lb lean ground turkey
2 bell peppers, chopped (any color)
1 onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can diced tomatoes (14 oz)
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp cumin
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the diced onion and bell peppers, and sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
- Add the ground turkey to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spoon.
- Cook until the turkey is browned and cooked through, about 7-10 minutes.
- Stir in the diced tomatoes, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
Notes
Serve with rice or quinoa for added texture. Excellent for tacos or leafy greens.
