Description

A healthy and delicious meal featuring ground turkey and colorful bell peppers, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

1 lb lean ground turkey

2 bell peppers, chopped (any color)

1 onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 can diced tomatoes (14 oz)

1 tsp chili powder

1 tsp cumin

Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the diced onion and bell peppers, and sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  4. Add the ground turkey to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spoon.
  5. Cook until the turkey is browned and cooked through, about 7-10 minutes.
  6. Stir in the diced tomatoes, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.

Notes

Serve with rice or quinoa for added texture. Excellent for tacos or leafy greens.
