- 4 cups Water or low sodium chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon Kosher salt
- 1/4 cup Dried shrimp
- 2 tablespoons Chopped scallions
- 1 tablespoon Chili oil or chili crisp
- 1/4 cup Goji berries
- 2 large Poached eggs
- 1/2 cup Fried shallots
- 1/2 cup Sliced shiitake mushrooms
- 2 pieces Youtiao
Instructions
- Combine the steel cut oats, water or broth, and kosher salt in the slow cooker. Stir gently to mix.
- Cover the slow cooker and set it to cook on low for 6-8 hours until thick and creamy.
- Serve in bowls and add your choice of toppings.
