Description

Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 packet instant yeast
- 1 cup warm water
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup crushed tomatoes
- 8 oz fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
- Fresh basil leaves
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Combine the flour, salt, sugar, and yeast in a bowl.
- Add the warm water and olive oil, mixing until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes.
- Let the dough rise for 1 hour in a warm place.
- Preheat your oven to a high temperature (475°F or 245°C).
- Roll out the dough on a baking sheet.
- Spread the crushed tomatoes over the dough.
- Top with mozzarella slices and season with salt and pepper.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden.
- Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
Notes
You can add other toppings as desired. Make sure to use fresh ingredients for the best flavor.
