8 oz chow mein noodles
2 tbsp vegetable oil
2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, carrots, bean sprouts)
1 cup chicken or shrimp (or your choice of protein)
3 tbsp soy sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp ginger, minced
2 green onions, chopped
Instructions
- Cook the chow mein noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add garlic and ginger, stir-frying for about 30 seconds.
- Add the mixed vegetables and chosen protein to the pan, cooking until tender.
- Pour in soy sauce and add the cooked noodles, tossing everything together for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.
Notes
For added flavor, include a dash of oyster sauce. Use fresh vegetables for a better texture.
