Ingredients

8 oz chow mein noodles

2 tbsp vegetable oil

2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, carrots, bean sprouts)

1 cup chicken or shrimp (or your choice of protein)

3 tbsp soy sauce

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp ginger, minced

2 green onions, chopped


Instructions

  1. Cook the chow mein noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add garlic and ginger, stir-frying for about 30 seconds.
  4. Add the mixed vegetables and chosen protein to the pan, cooking until tender.
  5. Pour in soy sauce and add the cooked noodles, tossing everything together for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.

Notes

For added flavor, include a dash of oyster sauce. Use fresh vegetables for a better texture.
