- 120 ml (½ cup) balsamic vinegar
- 60 ml (¼ cup) olive oil
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons honey
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs (like rosemary or thyme)
Instructions
- Prepare the Marinade: In a mixing bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, olive oil, minced garlic, honey, salt, and pepper until combined.
- Marinate the Chicken: Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish and pour the marinade over them. Ensure each piece is well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Bake the Chicken: Uncover the chicken and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 74°C (165°F).
- Serve: Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve with the pan juices drizzled on top.
