Virginia parents claim they were threatened with violence after speaking out against a school district’s LGBT+ agenda.
Mother-of-three Alisha Brand says her critics have threatened to “hold back the blow” and “kill” her as her Army of Parents group fights for “excellence in education, school safety and parental rights”.
“They targeted me in a Facebook group [Loudoun Love Warriors]and they said they wanted to restrain me,” she told Fox and Friends on Friday.
Curb hitting is “grabbing the back of someone’s head, forcing their mouth open, pushing them down to the ground with their face on the cement, their mouth around the curb, and then someone kicks them in the back of the head.” according to Brand.
“This is murder, this is a crime, and this is what these activists, who are connected to our political candidates, threatened me with,” said the mother. “These are real threats. These are death threats.”

Loudoun County Commonwealth’s Attorney Buta Biberaj said in a statement for the school district. “Threats of violence are never acceptable and can sometimes be criminal. I personally condemn all expressions of violence and my office will investigate whether a crime has been committed. Due to the possibility of a criminal investigation, I cannot give any other comment at this time.”
The Loudoun Love Warriors, who appear to have been fired, were reportedly linked to Biberaj, District Superintendent Julie Briskman, School Board President Ian Serotkin, School Board Member Brenda Sheridan, School Board Member Atosa Reeser, School Board Member Erika Ogedegbe , with the school board. candidate Anne Donohue, sheriff candidate Craig Buckley and chairwoman Phyllis Randall.
None of them were accused of making threats.
The threats came after a group of parents spoke at a recent school board meeting. They threatened to find the parent’s employer and fire them, with one parent saying critics even “referred me to the FBI, IRS and DHS all because they don’t like my opinion,” according to WJLA-TV.
“They will probably sit back and point to the fact that I am unemployed.” I’m having trouble finding a job. And who knows what will happen with the IRS and the FBI? I don’t know. But they did more than fire me. It’s affecting my family, my kids,” Loudoun parent Scott Mineo said.

Brand not only wants to apologize to the parents, but has reached out to Ohio Republican Representative Jim Jordan, who chairs the House Judiciary Committee, hoping he and his team will investigate the threats.
He also wants the House Judiciary Committee to pass legislation that would protect parents who speak out in public forums.
“This is a First Amendment right,” he told Fox and Friends.
