Instructions

  1. Lay two puff pastry dough sheets flat on a non-stick mat or parchment paper to prevent sticking and ease handling during assembly.
  2. Lightly cover each pastry sheet evenly with tomato purée concentrate or pizza sauce, creating a savory base layer.
  3. Sprinkle a light layer of grated aged cheddar cheese (or chosen alternative) over the tomato layer to add flavorful richness.
  4. Roll each sheet lengthwise into a cylinder shape. Then, carefully cut each cylinder lengthwise down the middle to create four long twisted pieces in total.
