Dani, a 40-year-old mother of 3, joined The Healthy Mummy 28 Day Weight Loss Challenges In September 2017. Following the healthy and nutritious recipes of the Challenge app and enjoying the delicious Healthy mummy smoothies she lost a total of 30kg and went from a size 16-18 to an 8.
When she first started the 28 day challenge, she lost 24 kg in 5 months. She then maintained her weight for a year while battling several health setbacks in 2018, which included three surgeries to remove abscesses and months of taking a cocktail of antibiotics and months of bed rest.
2019 saw her health return and she started her healthy mummy journey again, using Smoothies and the app again and focusing on fitness rather than weight loss. He lost another 6 kg.
Total weight loss – 30 kg
Dani not only lost weight by 30 kg, but also maintained the weight loss for a year.
He says “I turned 40 last year… And I’m honestly in the best shape I’ve been in my entire adult life.”

Dani’s Top 10 Tips to Lose That Stubborn Belly Fat
1. Stay away from trans fats
Read your labels and avoid products that contain trans fats, often labeled as hydrogenated fats (and sorry. But the fried chips at the local pub are full of them).
2. Eat more fiber
Soluble fiber absorbs water during digestion and turns into a gel, so it will obviously help keep you fuller for longer. 3. Cut down on alcohol

4. Eat a high protein diet

5. Say no to soft drinks

6. Get more sleep

7. Limit your juice intake
