A car struck three people in Manhattan Sunday night, leaving one person in critical condition, sources said.
According to law enforcement sources, the accident happened near East 21st Street and 3rd Avenue in Gramercy Park around 7:30 p.m.
Several people were injured when a car ran over them. At least one person was rushed to Bellevue Hospital in critical condition.
Photos of the chaotic scene show a woman on the ground being treated by paramedics for a neck brace and another woman with an injured leg.
Paramedics were also seen carrying a man on a stretcher to an ambulance.
Another photo shows a man slapping her in handcuffs. Sources say no charges have been filed so far.
No further information about the crash was available Sunday night.
