I recently visited Goa for a vacation with my family. From September 1, 2021, Goa no longer requires an RTPCR test from adults who completed two doses of the Covid19 vaccine 2 weeks after vaccination. For children younger than 18 years or adults who have not been vaccinated twice, and the RTPCR test is required no more than 72 hours later. I was looking for an affordable stay near North Goa and then I heard about the newly opened Holiday Inn in Candolim near Sinquerim Beach.
Our room was really spacious and decorated in a modern way. Along with the bed we also had a small couch where we could sit and enjoy watching TV. The room was decorated with bright colors that 
We loved the view from our room which showed the pool and also the lovely coconut trees. Executive Chef Deepak created welcome amenities for us, a perfect tribute to a travel writer like me, with a feather as a pen, almond chocolates as books, and a circle as a globe. 
The bathrooms are well equipped with a large mirror, hair dryer, weighing machine, as well as a telephone. The decor is very trendy and classy. 
The shower area is separate from the WC area, ensuring you have a comfortable bathroom experience. 
There is a comfortable desk with a lamp and a huge mirror which is great for working while you work as the WiFi is free and really fast. There is also a 32 inch TV with all premium channels. 
This is the new wing of Holiday Inn Goa Candolim which is currently under construction. It will have amazing views over the green of Sinkerim and the nearby river. 
Holiday Inn Goa Candolim is located just 400m from the uncrowded and beautiful Sinquerim Beach. You can just walk there within 5 minutes and enjoy a fun day with your family without the crowds at Calangute Beach. 
The best part about Holiday Inn Goa Candolim is that kids stay and eat for free. Children under the age of 12 can not only stay in their parents’ room, but also eat for free at any Holiday Inn restaurant at any time of the day. 
The hospitality of the team is truly world class. Manju from the restaurant team took really good care of us and became very good friends with our son Reyansh. He will ensure that any specific request from us is very well done. 
Overall, we had a great time at Holiday Inn Goa Candolim and the variety of food we tried here was so much that I have dedicated another blog post to the same.
