Ingredients

- 8 oz dark chocolate (70% cocoa content)
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tsp fresh orange zest
- 1 tbsp orange liqueur (optional)
- Cocoa powder or chopped nuts for coating
Instructions
- Chop the dark chocolate and place it in a heatproof bowl.
- In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream until it starts steaming.
- Pour the hot cream over the chopped chocolate and let it sit for a couple of minutes, then stir until smooth.
- Add the orange zest and optional orange liqueur, stirring until combined.
- Cover and refrigerate the mixture for about 2 hours or until firm.
- Once firm, scoop small amounts and roll them into balls.
- Roll the truffles in cocoa powder or chopped nuts to coat.
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge until serving.

For the best flavor, let truffles sit at room temperature for a few minutes before enjoying.
