The Pittsburgh Steelers have updated their Team Outlook after cornerback Akello Witherspoon was released by the team. Witherspoon has played in a rotation role for the Steelers, but hasn’t played well enough to avoid his release, which would save on salary cap space. The Steelers also bolstered their cornerback room this offseason with the additions of Patrick Peterson, Joey Porter Jr. and Chandon Sullivan.
