If you follow us on Instagram you should know that we have been to Lake Tahoe in the spring, while Lake Tahoe is known for its summer fun and water activities, did you know there is so much to do in the spring?

In this blog, I will share a list of things to do in South Lake Tahoe together as a family.

MS Dixie II.

MS Dixie II on Lake Tahoe is not only a beautiful and scenic experience, but also a fun and kid-friendly adventure. Families with children can have a memorable time on this rowing boat. Spacious decks give the kids plenty of space to explore, take in the stunning views and experience the thrill of being out on the water. Activities in Heavenly Village.

Although the famous gondola ride is closed for most of the spring season, there is plenty to do here in the spring. During the spring months, Sky Village transforms into a hub of excitement with a wide range of activities. Families will find a lively atmosphere with plenty of shops, boutiques and restaurants to explore. From souvenir shops to fashion boutiques and specialty shops, there’s something for everyone. Parents can indulge in some retail therapy, while kids can enjoy outdoor mini golf, bungee trampolines, a Magic Show and visit the Sky Village Cinema for a fun movie experience.

A lake with a playground.

You can’t miss the lake when you’re in Lake Tahoe, and a kiddie playground on the lake is sure to be a comfort for every parent. Relax, have a picnic and enjoy the beauty of the surrounding scenery while the kids play on the playground. This beach is free in the winter and spring, but if you go in the summer, it’s $25 for adults and $17 for children.

Station House Inn, located near this beach, provides a FREE Beach Pass to its guests.

Hotel offer.

Family hotels are our top priority on our travels. We stayed at the Station House Inn during our visit to Lake Tahoe and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. So here’s a list of things we loved about the Station Inn.
-Family/Kid friendly hotel with spacious rooms
-Tons of free indoor and outdoor activities to keep your kids engaged
– Free popcorn and indoor movie night on Fridays
-Free bonfires are sure to be a hit on a chilly night
-Access to the beach which is 0.2 miles from the hotel and the biggest advantage is that the beach has a playground for your kids. It also has jet skiing, kayaking and other water activities. The beach is also pet friendly.
-0.4 miles to Sky Village where you can do many activities including the Gondola
– The entire hotel is pet friendly
– Free parking on site
