- 1 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
- 1 cup Flour (Spelt, White, or Oat)
- 1 tbsp Baking Powder
- 1/2 cup Sugar (or Xylitol for sugar-free.)
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1 cup Powdered Sugar (Consider sugar-free for a healthier option.)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a mini donut pan or mini muffin tin.
- Whisk together your chosen milk, vinegar, oil, and pure vanilla extract until smooth and frothy.
- In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt until evenly blended.
- Combine the wet mixture with the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.
- Fill the donut pan cavities about ¾ full with batter.
- Bake for 8 minutes or until lightly golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow donuts to cool in the pan for about 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Coat the cooled donuts in powdered sugar before serving.
