Description

Tender meatballs simmered in a homemade sticky sweet and savory teriyaki glaze. A perfect low-effort dinner or party appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 32 oz frozen meatballs (Homestyle or Italian)
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce (Low sodium)
  • 1/2 cup water (For sauce base)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (Packed)
  • 1/4 cup honey (Adds gloss)
  • 1 tbsp garlic (Minced)
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger (Grated)
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar (Adds tang)
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch (For thickening)
  • 2 tbsp cold water (For slurry)
  • 1 cup pineapple slices (Optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. Whisk soy sauce, water, brown sugar, honey, garlic, ginger, and vinegar in a bowl.
  2. Place frozen meatballs in the slow cooker and pour the sauce over them.
  3. Cover and cook on Low for 3-4 hours or High for 1.5-2 hours.
  4. Whisk cornstarch and cold water; stir into the pot and cook on High for 15 mins to thicken.
  5. Garnish with pineapple slices and parsley before serving.
