Sklar Wilton & Associates has been recognized with the 2022 Canada Jobs Prosperity Award for Small Business.

We are honored to announce that Sklar Wilton & Associates has been selected as a 2022 Canadian Workplace Wellbeing Award winner in the Public/Private Sector Small Business category.

The Canadian Workplace Wellbeing Awards (CWWA), presented by the Canadian Positive Psychology Association (CPPA), aim to showcase and celebrate Canadian organizations that are going the extra mile to promote the mental health and well-being of their employees through excellent workplace well-being initiatives. .

“Organizations thrive when their employees thrive. Well-being in the workplace is critical to success, and the pandemic has highlighted this fact. CPPA launched the Wellbeing Awards to support, celebrate and share knowledge about incredible workplace wellness initiatives,” Dr. Jennifer Card, PsyD, MAPPCP, CWWA Co-Chair.

“We are incredibly grateful to receive this award for the 2nd timeth year in a row from an organization like the CPPA that leads the charge to promote a psychologically healthier society,” said Sarah Liverance, partner at Sklar Wilton & Associates. “Recognition like this reinforces our commitment to Headway, the workplace mental health movement we launched to honor our late founder Luke Sklar. Headway aims to inspire business leaders to take real action to create healthier workplaces. We believe it’s a powerful way to populate the world with healthier people.”

While changing workplace culture and improving employee wellbeing can be a daunting task, the CPPA believes that companies that embrace it are “changing the face and future of workplace wellbeing and should be recognised, recognized and celebrated”.

We wanted organizations to share their stories, their learnings and their successes as an inspiration to others. Understand that one size does not fit all and that there are so many meaningful little things that can be done that don’t cost a lot. Our goal is to ensure that this exchange and inspiration continues“. Wendy Parkes, CWWA Co-Chair
