Savory Shrimp Salad Sandwich: A Fresh Twist on Classic Eats
Ingredients

- 500 g shrimp (Fresh or frozen, peeled and deveined)
- olive oil (Extra virgin recommended)
- salt (To taste)
- pepper (To taste)
- 6 tbsp mayonnaise (Can substitute with Greek yogurt)
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard (Yellow mustard can be used)
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh dill (Can use dried dill in a pinch)
- 1 tbsp green onion (Finely chopped)
- 1 stick celery (Finely chopped)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice (Freshly squeezed)
- 4 pieces hot dog buns (Use your favorite type of bread)
- mayonnaise (For spreading inside the buns)
Instructions
- Preheat your pan over medium-high heat.
- Add olive oil and half of the shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and sauté for 2 minutes until pink.
- Flip the shrimp and cook for another minute, then remove and repeat with the remaining shrimp.
- Chop half of the cooked shrimp into medium-sized pieces.
- In a bowl, combine all shrimp with mayonnaise, mustard, dill, green onion, celery, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
- Slice the buns in half and spread a thin layer of mayonnaise inside.
- Toast the buns in the same pan, mayonnaise side down, until golden.
- Fill the toasted buns with the shrimp mixture and serve.
