The US military’s European Command released footage early Thursday showing the moment two Russian fighter jets shot down a US drone over the Black Sea. Redacted Air Force footage, which has not been independently verified by The Washington Post, shows the plane approaching the drone and releasing a cloud of gas or liquid next to it. US officials said two Russian Su-27s refueled the drone and hit its propeller, causing it to crash.
