€16m-rated manager Ruben Amorim and seven managers have been linked with the Chelsea manager’s vacancy following Graham Potter’s sacking.
Some of the job-related names have rocked, while other post-related names could return to the club for another spell.
8. Ruben Amorim (Sporting Lisbon)
Ruben Amorim has been continuously linked with the Chelsea vacancy despite his €16 million release clause.
The 38-year-old Portuguese, who helped Sporting Lisbon knock Arsenal out of the Europa League, is said to be a strong candidate as the Chelsea board look for someone for their long-term project.
7. Frank Lampard (not attached)
The former Chelsea manager is another name linked with the Chelsea job. Frank Lampard has been left without a club since his sacking from Everton and the board are said to be considering the 44-year-old manager.
They want a manager for their project and Frank Lampard reportedly fits the bill.
6. Roberto De Zerbi (Brighton)
Chelsea could return to Brighton for their manager despite the outcome of first-time manager Graham Potter from the club.
The London club have been linked with Roberto De Zerbi, 43, who was the manager who replaced Graham Potter, who moved to Chelsea from Brighton.
According to reports, the Italian manager is currently not interested in a move to Chelsea as he is focused on finishing the season at Brighton.
Just like Potter, if De Zerbi decides to leave, Brighton won’t stop him because he’s expensive too.
5. Carlo Ancelotti (Real Madrid)
Carlo Ancelotti is another name linked with the Chelsea job, currently at Real Madrid, but he is also in danger of being sacked, with Florentino Perez rumored to be eyeing Zinedine Zidane as his replacement.
Should he be sacked, Chelsea are believed to be interested in the manager who led them to the league title in 2010.
4. Jose Mourinho (Roma)
Jose Mourinho has been linked with a move to Chelsea which would see him manage the club for a third time following his two spells at Stamford Bridge.
There are reports in Italy that he is tired of Roma and wants to leave. He has shown record activity at Chelsea and is ready to move to the club that owes much to his heart.
3. Mauricio Pochettino (unattached)
It is said that Mauricio Pochettino is ready to become the head coach of “Chelsea” if given the opportunity. He was manager of Chelsea’s rivals Tottenham Hotspur but is open to a move to Chelsea.
However, several Chelsea fans are not in favor of the move as they have likened it to the move in 2013 when Rafael Benitez was appointed as Roberto DiMatteo’s replacement.
2. Luis Enrique (not attached)

The former Barcelona coach is one of the names Chelsea fans want as their new manager. The Spanish coach has also been linked with the job.
It is said that the former coach of “Roma” is going to take a job in England, because he is studying English and only listens to the news of the Premier League.
I think his time has finally come.
1. Julian Nagelsman

The sacked Bayern Munich manager is another name heavily linked with the Chelsea job, with some members of the club’s board said to like him.
Some fans want him now, but he is also going to cost Chelsea money, according to Fabrizio Romano, with Bayern Munich having to approve the deal.
Julian Nagelsmann is still under contract with the German club and Bayern are ready to negotiate with any potential buyer in order to save the money they have to pay him until 2026.
He is still under contract with the German club, but Bayern want to recoup some of the money they paid for the German, who still has three years left on his contract.
