Roasted Mushrooms in a Browned Butter Blissful Sauce
Ingredients

- 1 pound mushrooms (button, cremini, or other)
- 1 tablespoon oil (olive oil recommended)
- Salt and Pepper (to taste)
- 1/4 cup butter (or vegan butter)
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 teaspoon thyme, chopped
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Clean and slice 1 pound of mushrooms. Toss them in a large bowl with 1 tablespoon of oil, salt, and pepper.
- Spread the mushrooms in a single layer on the baking sheet and roast for about 20 minutes.
- Melt 1/4 cup of butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat until it turns hazelnut brown.
- Stir in 2 chopped cloves of garlic, 1 teaspoon of thyme, and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice once the butter is browned.
- Toss the roasted mushrooms in a large bowl with the browned butter sauce and serve warm.
