Description

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces raspberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 3/4 cups sugar
  • 1 cup lemon juice (freshly squeezed recommended)

Instructions

  1. Add the raspberries, water, sugar, and lemon juice into a high-powered blender such as a Vitamix.
  2. Start the blender at a low speed and gradually increase until the ingredients are fully combined and the mixture becomes smooth.
  3. Pour the blended mixture through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth to remove raspberry seeds, pressing gently to extract as much liquid as possible.
  4. Transfer the strained mixture to a container and refrigerate. Chill for at least 4 to 6 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow it to set into a sorbet texture.
  5. Scoop the chilled sorbet into bowls or glasses and enjoy immediately as a refreshing fruity dessert.
