‘Tis the season to shine! ✨ Honestly, I will find any reason to wear sequins, but especially during the holidays. There are a lot of plus size options out there at the moment, and in my experience I’ve learned that if I think too long about a dress, it will inevitably sell out before I can pin down my size.

In that spirit, I wanted to share some fun plus size dresses and tops that are available right now. I specifically wanted to include dresses that go up to at least a size 26. There are many options for sizes 22/24 and under, so I wanted to focus on the slightly harder to find sizes.

- Gold mini dress
- Long sleeve short sequin dress, available in 15 colors
- Two tone color block dress with tiered sleeves
- Full sleeve maxi dress
- Deep v mini dress with intricate straps
- Ribbon green dress
- Champagne Sequin Half Sleeve Shirt
- Rainbow striped short sequin dress
- Striped maxi dress
- Black sequin faux wrap shirt
The biggest question I get when wearing sequin pieces is if they itch. I realize it’s not the most tangible of ornaments on the outside. For the most part, sequin pieces are covered with mesh or some other soft and stretchy lining that protects the skin from any discomfort. I suggest sitting down for a test before deciding to keep an item. Sometimes pieces with larger chains on the ginger can make you quite sore, so make sure you’re comfortable.
Also a random practical tip. If you are driving at night, you can cover yourself with a shawl or coat. While the disco effect is fun in theory, it can be quite distracting when the headlights are shining into the car. Safety first and shine.
Just for fun, here are some of my favorite sequin pieces from years past:
