This Cherry Pepper Sausage Pizza is perfect for an easy quick dinner. We love making pizza on Friday nights while watching a funny movie. Usually by Friday we’re ready to whip up something quick but still has a lot of flavor. To make it really easy, buy a custom crust such as Boboli crust, stone-roasted faux crust, or other pre-made crusts available at your local grocery store.

Cheese and sausage pizza with cherry peppers
The steps to making this Cheesy Sausage Pizza with Cherry Peppers are so easy!
First, heat the oven to 400 degrees. Then start cooking the sausage in the pan. We use spicy Italian sausage links. Remove the sausage from the casing or cut the sausage into pieces. It takes about 4 to 5 minutes to cook it completely.
While the sausage is cooking, prepare the sauce. No need to make homemade pizza sauce. We like to buy a jar of pizza sauce and then add extra seasonings to the sauce. Here’s a fun tip for an easy way to give your pizza more of that great flavor and amp up your pizza sauce. All you need to do is add garlic powder and oregano to the pizza sauce. And if you want a really spicy pizza, mix some Habanero pepper into the sauce
For cheese, we added fresh mozzarella, gorgonzola and grated parmesan cheese. Prepare the cheese by slicing the mozzarella, shredding the gorgonzola and grating the parmesan. To make it even easier, buy pre-cut mozzarella cheese.
Now build the pizza. Sprinkle bottom of crust and sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top. For another fun flavor boost, sprinkle some coarse salt on the bottom of a pizza crust with parmesan cheese. Place pizza crust on cookie sheet. We like to line our cookie sheets with foil. This cuts down on cleaning time!!
Spread the pizza sauce on the dough. Sprinkle over sausage, Gorgonzola cheese, mozzarella cheese slices, and cherry peppers (we used fresh for this one, but pickled cherry peppers work too).
Bake for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and crust is golden brown. Slice and ENJOY!!!!

- 2: Individual pizza crust
- 8 o’clock An ounce Italian sausage – spicy
- 1: cup Pizza sauce
- 1/2 tea spoon Oregano
- 1/2 tea spoon Garlic powder
