Description

Oreo Cookie Balls are a quick, no-bake dessert made with just three simple ingredients: Oreos, cream cheese, and chocolate. These bite-sized truffles are rich, creamy, and perfect for holidays, parties, or edible gifting. Easy to customize with different toppings, they’re a fun and delicious treat everyone will love.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 30 regular Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 56 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1012 oz chocolate of choice (bar preferred for melting)
  • Sprinkles
  • Crushed Oreos
  • Chopped nuts
  • Candy pieces

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set it aside to prevent sticking.
  2. Using a food processor or rolling pin, crush the Oreo cookies until they are finely ground to create the base texture.
  3. Add softened cream cheese to the crushed Oreos and mix thoroughly until a smooth, dough-like consistency forms. Add a bit more cream cheese if the mixture is too dry to hold together.
  4. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them evenly on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Refrigerate or freeze the balls for 15–20 minutes to firm them up and make dipping easier.
  6. Melt your chocolate using a double boiler or microwave it in 20-second bursts, stirring frequently until smooth.
  7. Using a fork, dip each chilled Oreo ball into the melted chocolate, ensuring full coating. Tap off excess chocolate and return the balls to the baking sheet.
  8. Immediately after dipping, decorate the balls with sprinkles, crushed Oreos, nuts, or candy before the chocolate sets.
  9. Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator and chill the balls for another 10–15 minutes until the chocolate coating is firm.
  10. Store the Oreo cookie balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week or freeze them for up to three months for longer storage.
