Nigerian striker Gift Orban has won the Europa League Player of the Week award after his hat-trick heroics for Gent on Thursday.
After scoring four goals against Gent Zulte-Waregem in Jupiler, Belgium last Sunday, Orban scored a hat-trick as Gent beat Istanbul Basaksehir 4-1 in the second leg to reach the quarter-finals.
He wrote his name in the record books by scoring the fastest hat-trick in the history of UEFA club competitions.
He scored a hat-trick in three minutes and 25 seconds, eclipsing the UEFA Champions League and Europa League marks.
