Description

Nutella Cheesecake Bars are a delicious dessert combining creamy cheesecake with rich Nutella.


Ingredients

  • For the Crust:
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • For the Cheesecake Filling:
  • 16 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup Nutella
  • 1/4 cup sour cream (optional, for extra creaminess)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8 inch baking pan and line it with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Mix until the crumbs are evenly coated.
  3. Press the crumb mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared baking pan to form an even layer.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
  5. Gradually add the granulated sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  6. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing on low speed until just combined. Do not overmix.
  7. Gently fold in the Nutella until fully incorporated. If using, fold in the sour cream for extra creaminess.
  8. Pour the cheesecake filling over the prepared crust, spreading it evenly.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 30–35 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly.
  10. Remove from the oven and allow to cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set completely.
  11. Once chilled and set, lift the cheesecake bars out of the pan using the parchment paper overhang. Slice into squares and serve. Drizzle with extra Nutella or top with whipped cream if desired.
