Description

The Ultimate Mississippi Pot Roast is a tender and flavorful dish cooked in a crockpot. It’s easy to prepare and delivers great results with minimal effort.


Ingredients

  • 34 lb chuck roast
  • 1 (1 oz) packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 (1 oz) packet au jus gravy mix
  • 1/2 cup butter, cut into pats
  • 1 cup pepperoncini peppers, drained, with juice reserved

Instructions

  1. Place chuck roast in the crockpot.
  2. Sprinkle ranch seasoning mix and au jus gravy mix over the roast.
  3. Arrange butter pats on top of the roast.
  4. Pour the reserved juice from the pepperoncini peppers over the roast.
  5. Add the drained pepperoncini peppers.
  6. Cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours.
  7. Rest the roast for 10-15 minutes after cooking before shredding.
