Description

Mini Grilled Cheese Hawaiian Rolls are sweet-and-savory oven-baked sliders with melty cheese and a buttery garlic top. Perfect for kids’ parties and quick appetizers—12 sandwiches at once.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 count Hawaiian sweet dinner rolls (keep connected)
  • 12 slices American cheese (or 2 cups shredded cheddar)
  • 4 tbsp butter (melted)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp parsley (chopped, optional)

Instructions

  1. Rest 2 minutes, then cut along roll lines into 12 mini sliders. Serve warm.
  2. Layer: Put the bottom slab on a baking sheet. Cover evenly with cheese (overlap slices if needed).
  3. Top: Place the top slab back on, aligning the rolls. Press gently.
  4. Butter: Mix melted butter and garlic powder (add parsley if using). Brush generously over the top.
  5. Bake: Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 12–15 minutes until cheese is melted and tops are golden.
  6. Cut: Rest 2 minutes, then cut along roll lines into 12 mini sliders. Serve warm.
