- Pre-order now!
Hello engineers!
We’re extremely excited by the response so far and can’t wait for PlayStation players to finally get the chance to become space engineers. With full crossplay, Xbox, PC and now PlayStation players can team up and explore Space Engineers on their platform of choice.
Since our wishlist and pre-order campaigns have started, we’ve had a lot of questions from new and old community members. While we’ve asked questions on various platforms, we feel that some of the recurring questions are best addressed in a single post. We hope this helps to add clarity and state curiosity.
So let’s answer some questions.

During our initial release, the prices for the Space Engineers base game as well as the Ultimate Edition were incorrect and higher than originally intended. We have since worked with PlayStation to fix this.
- Prices are MUCH lower than previously listed.
- Pricing is now consistent across all platforms ($19.99 or your regional equivalent).
- We have adjusted the price in all storefronts and the prices should now appear correctly.
- PlayStation automatically refunds the price difference.
- We apologize for any confusion this may cause.
