- 2 slices Provolone Cheese
- 4 slices Pepperoni

- 0.5 teaspoon Dried Oregano
- 1 teaspoon Fresh Thyme
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine 4 tablespoons of softened salted butter with ½ teaspoon of garlic powder and ½ teaspoon of dried oregano. Mix thoroughly until well-blended.
- Spread a generous layer of the garlic butter on one side of each slice of bread. Layer two slices of provolone and a few pieces of pepperoni on the unbuttered side. Add a teaspoon of pizza sauce and top with mozzarella. Place another slice of bread on top, buttered side facing out.
- Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium-low heat. Place the assembled sandwich into the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes, until golden brown.
- Once the first side is golden, flip the sandwich and cook the other side for an additional 3-4 minutes, pressing down lightly.
- Remove the sandwich from the pan, sprinkle with fresh thyme, and allow it to cool before slicing in half.
