- 1 cup salted caramel sauce, cooled
- Flaky sea salt for sprinkling
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and a pinch of salt. Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat together the softened unsalted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Gently fold in the cooled salted caramel sauce until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
- Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
- Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown but the centers are still soft.
- Once out of the oven, let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely. Sprinkle a little sea salt on top while they’re still warm.
