Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 250°F (120°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Combine crispy cereal and pecans in a large bowl and set aside.
- Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat, then stir in brown sugar and corn syrup, boiling for 3-4 minutes.
- Mix in vanilla extract and add baking soda gradually, enjoying the aroma but being cautious.
- Pour the caramel over the cereal and pecans, stirring quickly to coat evenly.
- Spread the mixture on the baking sheet and bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
