IPL 2023 Playoffs CSK, MI, RCB, GT, RR, LSG, KKR, PBKS, SRH and DC Qualification Chances: Indian Premier League (IPL:) sixteenth season has reached its thrilling finale with 58 league matches played. The competition between the teams is intense with every passing match as each team is desperate to secure a place in the IPL 2023 playoffs.
Mumbai Indians (MI) won their fourth match in their last five games last night, beating Gujarat Titans by 27 runs at the Wankhede Stadium. With this win, MI have more chances to qualify for the playoffs.
However, defending champions Gujarat Titans almost qualified for the play-offs by winning eight out of 12 matches. They have 16 points and only two matches left this season. If they win one of these two matches, they will confirm their place in the playoffs.
It is noteworthy that each team played almost 12 matches of its quota and the teams were not officially eliminated from the competition. The tournament has become very difficult for the teams. GT, CSK and MI have 16, 15 and 14 points respectively and all the other teams still have a chance to qualify for the playoffs. RR, LSG and RCB are the teams that will battle it out for the fourth team in the playoffs.

Gujarat Titans.

The reigning champions have almost qualified for the IPL 2023 playoffs this season as they still have two matches left in their quota. They need to win just one match and they will confirm their place in the playoffs and they have just two matches left against SRH and RCB.
Chennai Super Kings.

After struggling in the opening few matches of IPL 2023, CSK have settled into their second position in the points table. With a 97% chance of qualifying this season, they have just two matches left against KKR and DC, a win in either of these matches will see CSK seal their place in the IPL 2023 playoffs.
Mumbai Indians.

MI have won their last four matches out of 5 and move straight up from 8th to 3rd in the table. With an 80% chance of qualifying for the playoffs, they are third in the points table. Their next two matches will be against LSG and SRH, they need to win both the matches to qualify.
Rajasthan Royals
(12M, 12 points, +0.633NRR)
With a 40% chance of qualifying for the IPL 2023 playoffs. RR have just two matches left in their league stage. These two matches are must win for RR. If they win these two matches with a better Net Run Rate, they could be the 4th team to qualify for the playoffs.
Lucknow SuperGiants
(11M,11 points,+0.294NRR)
LSG is 5th in the points table. There are three matches left in their quota and they need to win all their matches with a better Run Rate to qualify for the IPL 2023 playoffs. They have a 37% chance of qualifying for the playoffs.
Royal Challengers Bangalore
(11M, 10 points, -0.345NRR)
With just 10 points, RCB are placed 6th in the table. They have three matches left and if they win all these matches they will have a 20% chance of qualifying for the playoffs. All their matches are do or die for them.
Kolkata Knight Riders
(12M, 10 points, -0.357NRR)
With just 10 points and an NRR of -0.357, KKR almost lost their chances of qualifying for the playoffs. They still have two matches left and they can qualify if they win all the matches but with a huge run margin. Their chances of qualifying are only 4 percent.
Kings of Punjab
(11M, 10 points. -0.441NRR)
They are currently 8th in the points table and have won 5 out of 11 games. They have an 11% chance of qualifying, so if a miracle happens, only they can qualify for the IPL 2023 playoffs.
Sunrisers Hyderabad
(10M, 8 points, -0.472NRR)
SRH are all but out of the tournament with just four wins in 10 matches. If they win their next four matches by the biggest run margin, they will have 16 points and they could qualify, but for now they only have a 10% chance of qualifying.
Capitals of Delhi
(11M, 8 points, -0.605 NRR)
DC is the first team this season to be disqualified from the IPL 2023 playoffs. They have won just four games and still have three matches to go. if they win all their remaining matches, they are also eliminated from the tournament. They only have a 1% chance of qualifying.
