We’re launching a trial subscription plan for ChatGPT, a conversational AI that can chat with you, answer follow-up questions, and challenge incorrect assumptions.
The new subscription plan, ChatGPT Plus, will be available for $20 per month, and subscribers will receive a number of benefits:
- General access to ChatGPT, even during peak hours
- Faster response times
- Priority access to new features and improvements
ChatGPT Plus is available to customers in the United States and we will begin inviting people from our waiting list in the coming weeks. We plan to expand availability and support to additional countries and regions soon.
We love our free users and will continue to offer free access to ChatGPT. By offering this subscription price, we will be able to support free access to as many people as possible.
Learning from research preview
We launched ChatGPT as a research preview so we could learn more about the system’s strengths and weaknesses and collect user feedback to help us improve its limitations. Since then, millions of people have given us feedback, we’ve made several major updates, and we’ve seen users find value in a variety of professional use cases, including content design and editing, brainstorming, programming assistance, and new learning. : topics.

We plan to improve and expand this offering based on your feedback and needs. We will also be launching (ChatGPT API Waitlist) soon, and we are actively exploring lower cost plans, business plans and data bundle options for more availability.
