However, Jaipur captain Sunil Kumar produced some impressive shots that enabled the Panthers to maintain their lead at 27-22 in the 34th minute. The Pune team did not give up and fought back with Deshwal in the 38th minute to stay in the game 25-29. V Ajith was then tackled by Badal Singh and Aditya Shinde made a raid but Puneri could not draw as Jaipur held on to a 31-29 lead in the closing seconds. Panthers clinched their second Pro Kabaddi League title with a flawless performance in the dying seconds of the game.
