Description

Delightful Gingerbread Latte Mousse Domes blend cozy flavors of gingerbread with a rich coffee-infused mousse, perfect for holiday gatherings.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup brewed coffee
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground cloves
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp unflavored gelatin
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • Optional: Chopped walnuts or pecans for topping
  • Optional: Whipped cream for serving

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients and tools.
  2. Dissolve gelatin in cold water and let sit.
  3. Heat brewed coffee, molasses, sugar, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and vanilla in a saucepan.
  4. Add dissolved gelatin to the warm mixture.
  5. Whip heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  6. Fold the coffee mixture into the whipped cream carefully.
  7. Pour mousse into dome molds and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  8. Remove from molds, serve with whipped cream or toppings if desired.

Notes

For a dairy-free option, substitute heavy cream with coconut cream. Can be made up to two days in advance.
