Nigerian guard Gabe Vincent played a key role in the Miami Heat’s 128-102 victory over the Boston Celtics in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
Vincent has been a great performer for the Heat all season, but he took it a step further on Sunday against the Celtics.
Despite the usually reliable Jimmy Butler struggling to find his rhythm, Vincent stepped up and delivered an exceptional performance that brought the Miami Heat one step closer to the NBA Finals.
Vincent showed off his scoring prowess, scoring an impressive 29 points on 11-of-14 shooting from the field, including 6-of-9 from beyond the arc.
Notably, he outpaced the Celtics’ best options, Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, who scored 14 and 12 points, respectively.
The Miami Heat now need one more win to take a 3-0 lead in the 2023 NBA Finals.
