- 2 1/2 cups light brown sugar (packed)
- 4 large eggs (at room temperature)
- 1 1/2 cups Dutch processed cocoa powder
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 16 Oreo cookies (crumbled)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease and line a 9’x9′ pan with parchment paper.
- Combine the butter and brown sugar in a large microwave-safe bowl. Heat for about 30 seconds and whisk until smooth. Repeat heating two more times until glossy.
- Cool the mixture slightly before adding eggs one at a time, whisking in between until combined.
- Incorporate cocoa powder, salt, and vanilla extract, then fold in flour until just combined. Finally, fold in crumbled Oreo pieces.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for approximately 45 minutes, testing for doneness around 40 minutes.
