Hello friends! Happy Friday! How’s your week going? The weekend is a good start. I met up with a friend for a Pure Barre class. The Reform class included bands and sliders for a strong strength workout and a smoothie. Next up was a quick trip to the chiropractor, a stop at the girls’ school, and now it’s time for the wedding celebration.
Tomorrow is my brother Trevor’s wedding and I can’t wait for the giant festival with the family. Last year, Trevor and his wife eloped in Vegas, but now it’s time to celebrate! The pilot is officiating the ceremony (!) and I can’t wait to see family members we haven’t seen in forever. Hope you have a great weekend ahead too!

New Aviator Nation hoodie. These are the best hoodies in the whole country. Betsy got me and they are so crazy soft. Once you go to AN, you’ll never go back. I chose gray to go with everything. Perfect for lounging, layering with gym clothes and travelling.
I’m at a special point in life where I’m excited about mouthwash. lol I don’t usually use regular mouthwashes because the ingredients can be sketchy, but I found this one at Thrive Market that had great reviews. It does have a slime flavor from the fennel, so don’t order it if you hate the taste of fennel, but if you like the taste of fennel, you’ll be a fan.
Still obsessed with the Hatch light.
I’ve been trying to figure out why I haven’t been feeling so stressed in the mornings lately, and I really think this light has made a huge difference. It’s so peaceful to wake up to soft light and chirping birds instead of a screeching iPhone alarm. I also like to relax at night. I hit snooze when I start to fall asleep and within 15 minutes it plays the sound of choice (I chose Moonlight Melodies, which is a gentle piano) and the clock simulates a sunset. I usually crash before the 15 minutes are up.

I started watching Glass onion. knife out mystery while I was relaxing in a sauna blanket and still am.
Finished this book and wow! I have so many thoughts and I’m sure it will be hard to express everything in this month’s book review post, but it was devastating, hopeful, and beautifully done.

An interesting study is the training schedule. My two cents. any movement is better than no movement, so I wouldn’t stress about timing your workouts (unless it’s 2-3 hours before bed).

I ended up ordering another dress for the wedding – we were asked to wear black – and decided on this one. The fit is more flattering and the fabric is amazingly beautiful. P will be wearing this dress and I’m still trying to finalize Leo’s outfit. If you wait until the last minute, it only takes a minute. 😉
