Breaking News is a template for creating fake breaking news screens like the ones you might see on CNN or BBC News. With the template, you can add a news headline, marker, location, and a custom background image. After completing the template, you can download your news screen as an image or post it online to Imgur.
Applications for education
Russell Tarr has a number of examples of “Goodbye News” screens created about historical events such as the assassination of President Lincoln. You can also have students create “Farewell News” screens about major turning points in the plots of their favorite works of fiction.
