Fever vs. Sky Prediction and Odds for the WNBA Commissioner’s Cup

The WNBA didn’t make it easy on the Indiana Fever with its opening schedule, as the team played the Connecticut Sun (6-1), the Las Vegas Aces (6-0), the New York Liberty (4-2) and the Connecticut Sun twice. Atlanta Dream (2-3) to open the season.

No. 1 overall pick Aaliyah Boston and the Fever have another tough test against the Chicago Sky (4-3) on Tuesday night in Chicago.

The Sky split the weekend home-and-home with the Liberty, and they moved into third place in the Eastern Conference.

Let’s examine the latest odds and the best bet to place on this match.

Fever vs. Sky odds, spread and total

Fever vs Sky Prediction and Selection

While the Fever have been tough against the Aces and Sun in the last two games, I can’t back them against Chicago in this one.

Indiana is 1-4 for some reason, and the team ranks near the bottom of the league in several key stats.

  • 10th in offensive rating
  • 8th in defensive rating
  • 10th in net ranking
  • 10th in effective field goal percentage
  • 9th with a percentage of 3 points

That will make things difficult against a Chicago team that has the No. 3 defensive rating in the league. The Sky are going to wreak havoc, and they’re forcing nearly 15 opponent turnovers per game this season.

Chicago’s offense (11th in offensive rating) is a concern, but Indiana’s defense isn’t nearly as good. I’ll put the points with Sky at home.
